Originally from a small village in the islands of Jr. High Winter Retreat at Camp Patmos Bring your church's Jr. High youth to Camp Patmos January 28 - 30 for the Jr. High Winter Retreat. In the community of retreat, we will have fun playing games, enjoying the winter outdoors, singing, listening to encouraging talks, studying God’s word, as well as sharing what we are learning in small groups. The theme of the retreat is "Standing on Solid Ground." In Luke 6:47 Jesus tells us that anyone who hears the Word of God and puts it into practice is like a wise man who built his house on solid ground. No matter what storms came upon him, his house stood firm because it was on solid ground. This retreat designed to help 6th—8th graders understand the importance of putting the Word of God into practice in daily life. Standing on solid ground is the only way we will be able to weather the storms life brings.
At Camp Patmos, you will find rustic cabins, acres of forest, and a pleasant lake with a beautiful beach. Camp Patmos is located three miles north of Hackensack, Minnesota, on Stony Lake.
